## What is IELTS Speaking Part 2? IELTS Speaking Part 2 is the "individual long turn" section. You will be given a task card with a topic and 3-4 bullet points. You have **1 minute to prepare** and **1-2 minutes to speak**. ## The C.U.T.S. Strategy A proven framework for structuring your response: - **C** - Context: Set the scene (who, what, when, where) - **U** - Unfold: Describe the main details - **T** - Turning point: Add a twist, reflection, or key moment - **S** - Summary: Conclude with feelings or lessons learned ## Topic Categories ### 1. People **Sample card:** > Describe a person you admire. > - Who this person is > - How you know them > - What they do > - And explain why you admire them **Sample answer:** > "The person I truly admire is my high school physics teacher, Mr. Chen. I first met him when I was 15, and he completely transformed my understanding of science. What sets him apart is his ability to explain complex concepts using everyday examples..." ### 2.
